Escalera a La Villita is featured on the cover of Splash 19, released in August 2018.

The paintings of Mission, Texas watercolorist Dee Tunseth are light-filled and rich with color.  Viewers often comment on the luminosity and smooth technical control displayed in her art.  This former Alaskan's work began with inspiration from majestic mountains and snow-covered spruce, and has expanded to include the warmer palette of the Southwest, where she now lives.
